Details of the Job/Internship
Balancehero India Pvt. Ltd. is hiring for the position of Senior Legal Manager to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, red-line, negotiate, and finalize a wide range of contracts and documents (including commercial, technology, vendor, partnership, and marketing agreements).
- Ensure legal compliance in all contractual engagements and support internal stakeholders in aligning agreements with company policies.
- Draft and vet legal documentation related to lending and other financial products; regularly advise business teams on legal queries.
- Provide legal input on the development, structuring, and launch of new products and services.
- Handle customer complaints and perform legal due diligence as required.
- Support litigation, including complaint filing, coordinating with police and regulatory authorities, and liaising with external counsel.
- Design and implement contract management processes to ensure operational efficiency.
- Prepare and manage MIS reports for the Legal team; conduct internal audits and highlight compliance risks along with actionable resolutions.
- Advise on legal aspects related to fintech, NBFCs, co-lending, financial platforms, technology law, and intellectual property.
- Assist in developing and approving internal policies, standard templates, and procedures.
- Engage with enforcement agencies and investigation authorities as necessary.
Eligibility
- Strong understanding of Indian laws and regulatory frameworks related to NBFCs, financial services, fintech operations, and technology.
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end legal aspects of business transactions and contract negotiations.
- Ability to navigate dynamic regulatory environments and provide practical legal solutions.
- Experience in working with cross-functional stakeholders, external counsels, and regulatory bodies.
- Sound judgment, research skills, and the ability to interpret complex legal issues.
- Exceptional drafting, communication, and analytical skills.
