Details of the Job/Internship
BDO India is hiring a mid-senior legal professional with experience of 8–12 years to join their corporate legal team in Mumbai – Dadar.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate SaaS, licensing, service, consultancy, reseller, joint venture, and trademark agreements.
- Handle commercial contracts including engagement letters, NDAs, vendor agreements, sub-contracts, and referral agreements.
- Draft contracts from scratch and develop standard templates.
- Negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and third parties.
- Conduct legal research on applicable laws related to contracts.
- Manage internal stakeholder requirements related to contract matters.
- Build, train, and collaborate with junior team members.
- Create SOPs and procedures for contract review and management.
- Provide guidance on data protection legislation and insurance requirements.
- Integrate AI tools for contract management processes.
- Support additional matters related to contract management.
Eligibility
- LLB with 8–12 years of post-qualification experience.
- CS or LLM qualification preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management experience.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and strategic thinking skills.
- High proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
