Details of the Job/Internship
BHIVE Workspace is hiring a Senior Legal Manager with over 11 years of experience to lead its legal, compliance, and regulatory affairs team in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Serve as the key legal advisor to executive management and the board.
- Oversee corporate, commercial, and regulatory compliance, including SEBI, Companies Act, LLP Act, and FEMA.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts such as client/vendor agreements, employment contracts, real estate, M&A, JV, and fundraising documents.
- Ensure timely statutory filings and company secretarial compliance.
- Develop and implement internal policies on data protection, risk management, and ethics.
- Represent the company in dispute resolution, litigation, and negotiations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—Finance, HR, and Business—to ensure legal alignment.
- Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing legal and compliance team.
Eligibility
- LL.B. (mandatory) and LL.M. (preferred) from a reputed institution.
- Minimum 11 years of experience in corporate legal, compliance, and litigation management.
- In-depth knowledge of company and regulatory laws.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proven leadership ability and ethical conduct in a fast-paced environment.
