Details of the Job/Internship
Bridgexcel is hiring a senir legal manager to join them in Gurugram office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Litigation Management: Oversee and manage a diverse range of litigations across India, including consumer court cases, police inquiries, and enforcement agency actions.
- Contractual Matters: Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements to protect the company's interests.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to RBI regulations, especially those pertaining to digital lending and AML. Provide expert advice on customer journeys and AML risk mitigation strategies.
- Fraud Reporting and AML Compliance: Prepare and submit reports to the Board, FIU-IND, and RBI regarding fraud and AML compliance matters.
- Strategic Legal Counsel: Provide strategic legal advice to senior management on various legal and regulatory issues.
Eligibility
- Law degree from a reputed university.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the banking, NBFC, or housing finance industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian laws, especially those related to banking, finance, and corporate laws.
- Strong understanding of RBI regulations, particularly those pertaining to lending and AML.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel.
- Experience in handling regulatory investigations and enforcement actions.
- Knowledge of international legal frameworks and cross-border transactions.
