Details of the Job/Internship

CFM Asset Reconstruction Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Senior Legal Manager with 8+ years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Drafting and vetting various documents related to the assignment of loans and legal and statutory notices under the SARFAESI Act, 2002.
• Taking appropriate legal action for recovery of dues and following up on cases before forums like DM/CMM, DRT, NCLT, appellate courts, and tribunals.
• Enforcing security interests and handling civil and criminal litigation.
• Representing the company at quasi-judicial forums as necessary.
• Drafting and vetting plaints, written statements, evidence, affidavits, replies, and various petitions.
• Coordinating and following up with team members and advocates in consultation with the President Legal.
• Willingness to travel frequently across India as required to defend legal cases on short notice.

Eligibility

• LL.B qualification.
• Minimum 8 years of legal experience in banks, financial institutions, NBFCs, or ARCs.
• Preference will be given to candidates with ARC experience.
• Self-motivated individual with good business understanding and commitment to organizational growth.
• Effective communication skills and sound job knowledge.
• Deep understanding of laws relating to banks and commercial laws.
• Knowledge of relevant SEBI, FEMA, Capital Market, RBI, Companies Act guidelines.
• Proactive approach with the ability to multitask, communicate with all management levels, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• System and process-oriented approach.
