Curo India Private Limited is hiring a Senior Legal Manager – Real Estate with experience of 8–10 years to join their office in Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and strategic guidance to the CMD and leadership on real estate matters.
- Identify legal risks in projects, transactions, and operations, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex real estate contracts, including Joint Development Agreements, Sale Deeds, Lease Agreements, and MoUs.
- Ensure contractual terms align with company strategy and safeguard company interests.
- Lead title verification and due diligence for land acquisition, development, and transactions.
- Prepare detailed due diligence reports for CMD decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with RERA, land laws, registration requirements, and local regulations.
- Monitor changes in laws affecting real estate operations and advise the CMD accordingly.
- Oversee litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution matters.
- Manage external counsel and represent the firm before legal forums, as required.
- Mentor and guide junior legal staff.
- Prepare legal performance reports and present key findings to the CMD.
Eligibility
- Law degree (LL.B. or LL.M.) and Bar membership, if applicable.
- Typically 8–10 years of relevant experience in real estate legal practice.
- Strong expertise in contract law, property law, negotiation, and litigation.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
