Details of the Job/Internship
Emeritus is hiring a Senior Manager, Legal – Enterprise Team with experience of 5+ years to support its global operations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate enterprise business, commercial, marketing, advertising, and IT contracts.
- Provide legal advice on structuring business transactions and contract negotiations.
- Prepare and update standard form agreements in collaboration with regional counsel.
- Work with the Privacy Team on matters related to data protection laws.
- Train internal stakeholders on contracting processes and practices.
- Handle a high volume of legal matters across different time zones.
Eligibility
- LLB degree and enrolment with the Bar Council is preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
- Experience as in-house counsel in a global technology or education company is preferred.
- Proficiency in English.
- Experience in privacy laws is preferred.
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
