Details of the Job/Internship

flynas is hiring a Senior Legal Manager with experience of 8–10 years to join their office in New Delhi. The role involves ensuring efficient contract management across all company agreements and overseeing timely leasing and aircraft induction to support fleet expansion. The position focuses on establishing compliance standards, improving internal contract implementation frameworks, validating dispute statuses, monitoring ongoing disputes, and proposing strategies to mitigate financial and legal risks.

Role and Responsibilities

• Negotiate and handle end-to-end various contracts including service agreements, lease agreements, purchase agreements, repair agreements, and technical services agreements, covering drafting, review, consensus building, negotiation, execution, and closing.
• Assist in delivery and redelivery of aircraft, including coordination with lessors, collating filings, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide advice to different departments on contract-related issues and ensure contractual compliance in all arrangements entered into by the Company.
• Support creation, improvement, and implementation of internal processes to ensure smooth operations, timely closure of assignments, and mitigation of legal risks.
• Review, study, and analyse documents, pleadings, correspondences, and communications related to existing litigations and prepare summaries of key litigations, including maintenance and updating of litigation status trackers.
• Conduct meetings and discussions with team members across departments to identify and address technical issues in ongoing or potential material litigations.
• Review and draft responses to letters, correspondences, and communications relating to ongoing or potential dispute matters across verticals.
• Liaise and work with external foreign counsels and solicitors across all stages of key litigation matters.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in law from a recognised university.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in legal and management practice areas concerning the aviation industry.
