Details of the Job/Internship

Fresh & Honest is hiring a Senior Legal Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join their legal team in Chennai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance on compliance, litigation, and corporate governance.
• Negotiate, draft, and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents, ensuring they are legally sound and aligned with business goals.
• Ensure the company complies with all applicable laws and regulations including FSSAI, Legal Metrology, Shops & Establishments, and Labour Laws.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks for the organization.
• Oversee litigation matters.
• Work with other departments and stakeholders to ensure legal matters are addressed effectively.
• Keep abreast of changes in laws, regulations, and industry best practices.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience as a Corporate Legal Manager, preferably in the food industry.
• Sound knowledge of FSSAI and Legal Metrology rules.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
