Details of the Job/Internship
KreditVenture is hiring a Senior Legal Manager with 8+ years of experience to lead non-litigation legal functions for its LAP and Commercial Vehicle business at the Mumbai Head Office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and standardize loan and security documents for LAP and CV portfolios.
- Oversee title verification, legal opinions, and mortgage creation across States.
- Manage empaneled advocates and legal vendors to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
- Coordinate with external counsel on litigation, arbitration, enforcement, and settlement strategies.
- Draft legal notices, complaints, representations, and related correspondence.
- Support audit and compliance queries from internal and external auditors.
- Lead and mentor a legal team and collaborate with Credit, Operations, and Risk departments.
Eligibility
- LLB required; LLM preferred; Bar Council registration mandatory.
- Minimum 8 years of experience, including 5 years in corporate legal roles within NBFCs.
- Strong knowledge of property laws, mortgage structuring, and NBFC regulatory frameworks.
- Experience in team leadership, vendor management, and cross-functional coordination.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
