Details of the Job/Internship
KreditVenture is hiring a Senior Legal Manager with over 8 years of experience, including at least 5 years in corporate legal roles within NBFCs, to join its Head Office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and standardize loan and security documentation for LAP and CV products.
- Oversee title verification, legal opinions, and mortgage creation across various States.
- Manage empaneled advocates and legal vendors to maintain quality and cost control.
- Liaise with external counsel on litigation, arbitration, and enforcement matters.
- Draft and issue legal notices, police complaints, and representations.
- Support audit and compliance functions and address legal queries.
- Lead and mentor a team of legal professionals and collaborate with Credit, Operations, and Risk departments.
Eligibility
- LLB degree (mandatory); LLM preferred.
- Registration with the State Bar Council.
- Minimum 8 years of total experience, including 5 years in NBFC corporate legal roles.
- Strong knowledge of property, mortgage, and NBFC regulatory laws.
- Proven leadership, vendor management, and coordination skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting abilities.
