Details of the Job/Internship

Maatrum Technologies is hiring a Senior Legal Manager with a minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience to join their office in Bengaluru.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft comprehensive title opinions using the Maatrum platform, ensuring alignment with internal frameworks and client policies.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand specific policy requirements, ensure timely and accurate delivery of legal reports, and address legal queries.
• Partner with Operations and Technology teams to improve turnaround time, streamline legal processes, and enhance platform functionality.
• Maintain high-quality legal deliverables, ensuring compliance with clients’ credit and legal policies and internal standards.
• Act as a legal escalation point for in-house teams, providing guidance and proactive solutions during title opinion processing.
• Train, mentor, and support junior legal staff and associates.

Eligibility

• Bachelor of Law (LLB) or Master of Law (LLM).
• LLM from a reputed public university is highly preferred.
• Minimum 8+ years of post-qualification experience.
• Strong exposure to land and real estate legal matters, including title verification and due diligence.
• Previous experience in Banking, NBFCs, Developers, Real Estate firms, or Law Firms handling property and land-related matters.
• Fluency in reading and writing the regional language (mandatory).
• Solid understanding of property law, registration processes, encumbrance checks, and related legal documentation.
• Strong communication and client-handling skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, tech-enabled environment.

Salary/Stipend
