Details of the Job/Internship
NJ Capital (NJC) is hiring a Senior Legal Manager with 6–7 years of experience in the NBFC sector to join their office in Goregaon, Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, vet, and negotiate legal documentation with lenders, service providers, and vendors in compliance with regulations.
- Liaise with and manage external counsels or law firms for opinions and litigation support while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Coordinate with banks and financial institutions on funding, security documentation, and regulatory matters.
- Address and resolve legal issues, providing sound advice on both litigation and non-litigation matters.
- Stay updated on regulatory developments and advise management on required actions.
- Liaise or represent the company before regulatory authorities as required.
- Ensure compliance of all company legal documents, including agreements, forms, formats, and websites.
Eligibility
- Educational Qualification: LLB, LLM, or CS.
- Minimum 6–7 years of experience, preferably in the NBFC sector.
