Details of the Job/Internship

NJ Capital Private Limited is hiring a Senior Legal Manager with a minimum of 7 years of experience in the NBFC sector to join its office in Goregaon, Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft legal documentation for entities such as lenders, service providers, and vendors in line with applicable regulations to protect the company’s interests.
• Vet legal documentation received from lenders, service providers, and vendors in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Negotiate terms and conditions of legal documentation with lenders, service providers, and vendors.
• Liaise with, instruct, and manage external legal counsels or law firms for specialised opinions while ensuring cost control.
• Coordinate with banks, financial institutions, and other institutions regarding funding, security documentation, charge creation, and regulatory requirements.
• Address and resolve legal matters, including litigation and non-litigation issues, while providing sound legal advice.
• Stay updated on the regulatory landscape and advise management on necessary actions.
• Liaise with or represent the company before relevant regulatory bodies where required.
• Ensure legal compliance in company legal documents such as agreements, forms, formats, and websites.

Eligibility

• Educational qualification: LLB, LLM, or CS.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in the NBFC sector.
