Details of the Job/Internship
Porter is hiring a Senior Legal Manager with 6–9 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of commercial agreements, including drafting, review, negotiation, and execution.
- Handle customer and vendor contracts while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Provide legal guidance to internal stakeholders on a wide range of legal matters.
- Identify legal risks and develop practical mitigation strategies.
- Ensure legal strategies align with business goals while minimizing risks.
- Advise on logistics, transportation laws, and compliance requirements.
- Provide counsel on corporate governance, consumer protection, and e-commerce laws.
- Review and negotiate transaction documents, including share subscription, shareholding, and share purchase agreements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance across business operations.
- Oversee legal team workflows and allocate resources efficiently.
- Identify gaps in legal processes and implement improvements and automation.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree with 6–9 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Prior experience in the logistics sector is preferred.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
