Details of the Job/Internship

Republic Media Network is hiring a Senior Legal Manager with experience of 8–10 years to join their office in Noida.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end legal strategy and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements, including commercial and content contracts.
• Manage litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution.
• Oversee responses to legal notices and regulatory inquiries.
• Advise senior management on legal risks and business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with laws including the Companies Act, IPR, labour laws, and media regulations.
• Develop and implement policies such as Code of Conduct and POSH.
• Conduct legal due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring.
• Maintain contract management systems and litigation trackers.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and stakeholders.
• Mentor and manage junior legal team members.

Eligibility

• LL.B. / LL.M. from a recognized university.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in corporate legal roles, preferably in media or broadcast.
• CS qualification is an added advantage.
• Strong expertise in contract law, corporate law, and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in litigation, arbitration, and commercial negotiations.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong business acumen and decision-making ability.
• High level of integrity and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and MS Office.
