Details of the Job/Internship

Skechers South Asia Pvt. Ltd.  is seeking an experienced Legal Professional (LLB) with 8–12 years of expertise in brand protection, legal documentation, and compliance management. The role involves ensuring regulatory adherence, safeguarding the company’s intellectual property, and providing strategic legal support across departments.

Role and Responsibilities

• Brand Protection & Litigation Support
• Liaise with external lawyers on intellectual property (IPR) and other legal matters.
• Support brand protection initiatives, including enforcement actions and dispute resolution.
• Compliance & Governance
• Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance under applicable laws.
• Monitor legal obligations under contracts and agreements to ensure adherence.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining compliance reports for submission to the Head – Legal.
• Contracts & Legal Advisory
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts and legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare opinions to support business decisions.
• Provide practical and solution-oriented legal advice to internal stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Training
• Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to address legal requirements.
• Conduct training sessions for business teams and other stakeholders on compliance and legal matters.

Eligibility

• Education: LLB from a recognized university.
• Experience: 8–12 years of experience in legal advisory, compliance, contracts, and brand/IPR protection.
• Strong knowledge of corporate, commercial, and compliance-related laws.
• Excellent drafting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Salary/Stipend
