Details of the Job/Internship
Sportz Interactive is hiring a Legal Manager with 6–12 years of post-qualification experience to lead its legal function. The role involves overseeing contracts, corporate governance, employment law, IP/trademark matters, and data privacy while managing a team of two junior legal professionals.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate domestic and international contracts.
- Manage contract repository and contract lifecycle compliance.
- Handle corporate governance, board matters, and statutory filings.
- Oversee IP portfolio including trademarks and copyrights.
- Ensure compliance with Indian and international data privacy laws.
- Advise on employment law, contracts, disciplinary issues, and POSH.
- Develop and monitor compliance policies.
- Lead and mentor two junior legal team members.
Eligibility
- LL.B. with 6–12 years of post-qualification experience.
- Preferably corporate/in-house legal background.
- Strong knowledge of commercial contracts, employment law, and corporate governance.
- Ability to independently head the legal function.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
