Details of the Job/Internship

Srijan Realty Private Limited is hiring for the position of Senior Legal Manager to join their office in Greater Kolkata Area.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and manage a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and property-related documentation.
• Provide legal counsel and strategic advice on issues relating to real estate development, land acquisition, joint ventures, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, especially those related to property, construction, and corporate law.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings, negotiations, or dispute resolutions where necessary.
• Liaise with external legal counsel, government authorities, and internal teams to manage legal risk and safeguard the company’s interests.
• Maintain accurate and organized legal records, licenses, and compliance documents.
• Monitor changes in real estate law and ensure internal policies are up to date.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.); a Master’s degree (LL.M.) or relevant certification is a plus.
• Proven experience (preferably 8+ years) in legal roles within the real estate sector or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of property laws, contract law, regulatory frameworks, and legal due diligence.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a solution-oriented approach.
• Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and work independently in a dynamic environment.

Salary/Stipend
