Unity Small Finance Bank is hiring a Senior Legal Manager with experience of 6 to 10 years to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide legal advisory in digital documentation.
• Drafting, vetting and negotiation of business agreements and legal documents including related to digital lending, digital loans, digital banking products etc.
• Thorough understanding of the RBI regulations.
• Sharing the RBI and other legal/regulatory authority updates with the concerned stakeholders from time to time.
• Drafting and vetting various policies and process of the Bank.
• Creating standard formats of agreements and legal documents.
• Providing legal advisory on various issues.
• Review of standard agreement drafts and suggesting changes of any.
• Litigation Management.
• Ensuring that the agreement terms and conditions are as per laws and regulations.
• Ensure that all regulatory clauses are covered in the agreements.
• Legal research on various topics for advisory.
• Collaboration with external lawyers for agreements and other legal work.
• Ensure that that the agreement language is legally binding.
• Point out legal and business risk to the business.
• Other work as assigned from time to time.
• Understanding of code of conduct, disciplinary actions and its implications.
• Expert in legal research.
• Expert in dealing with higher authorities.
• Legal risk identification and policy implementation.
• Build good relationships with law firms and advocates for the legal work.

Eligibility

• Post qualification experience 6 to 10 years.
