Details of the Job/Internship
Mekeran Energy & Infra Private Limited is hiring a Senior Legal Officer with experience of 4–5 years to join their office in Coimbatore (RS Puram).
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end legal operations across projects.
- Draft, review, and vet contracts and legal documents.
- Conduct land legal due diligence, including Patta, Chitta, EC verification, and title validation.
- Ensure compliance with corporate, statutory, and labour laws.
- Handle legal notices, disputes, and litigation coordination.
- Support land acquisition processes and documentation.
- Coordinate with external counsel and advise internal stakeholders on legal risks.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law (LLB/LLM or equivalent).
- 4–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in EPC, infrastructure, or renewable energy sector.
- Strong expertise in contract drafting and legal documentation.
- Proficiency in Tamil and English.
- Knowledge of corporate law, statutory compliance, and labour laws.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
