Details of the Job/Internship
Contract Bazaar is hiring a Senior Legal Quality Manager with 5–7 years of experience in contract drafting, review, and quality control. The role involves managing and mentoring legal associates, reviewing drafts, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and serving as the final checkpoint for all legal deliverables.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of legal associates working on contract drafting and review.
- Review first drafts prepared by the team and perform final quality checks before client submission.
- Ensure legal documents are consistent, accurate, and aligned with client requirements.
- Provide timely, professional, and constructive feedback to improve drafting quality.
- Establish and maintain quality standards, processes, and best practices across the team.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify training needs and support team development.
- Uphold a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.
Eligibility
- LL.B. or higher degree in law.
- 5–7 years of experience in contract drafting, review, and quality control.
- Proven experience managing or mentoring a legal team.
- Strong understanding of commercial contracts (NDAs, MSAs, SLAs, etc.).
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong error-detection skills.
- Excellent communication skills with a professional approach to feedback.
- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high quality.
- Preferred: Experience in legal-tech or contract management environments, and exposure to client management.
