Details of the Job/Internship
RemotePass is hiring a Senior Legal Specialist – EMEA with 6+ years of experience in employment law to join their remote team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Negotiate and review complex contracts including MSAs, SaaS agreements, and employment contracts.
- Provide legal guidance on EMEA employment matters including onboarding, termination, and compliance.
- Advise on GDPR and global data protection, especially in employment contexts.
- Handle legal escalations and deliver practical legal advice across jurisdictions.
- Develop and improve legal operations, workflows, and playbooks.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Sales, Compliance, and Product teams.
- Engage with industry trends and policy development in HR tech.
Eligibility
- Law degree (LL.B./JD) from a recognized university.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in employment law, preferably in EOR, staffing, or HR tech sectors.
- Proven expertise in European labor law, contract negotiation, GDPR compliance, and cross-border legal support.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of another European language (e.g., French, German, Spanish) is a plus.
