Details of the Job/Internship
J-Law Offices is hiring a Senior Associate (Corporate Law) with 5-8 years of experience to join their Delhi office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft a wide range of legal agreements including SPAs, SHAs, private trust deeds, lease deeds, MSAs, vendor and supply agreements, customer contracts, and PPAs.
- Provide legal advice on contract law, property law, Companies Act, FEMA, and corporate regulations.
- Handle client matters independently with light-touch partner oversight.
- Prepare crisp legal memos and cogent legal opinions.
- Potential involvement in pharma-law matters, title search, due diligence, employment law matters, and legal metrology or FSSAI-related advisory.
- Appear before NCLT and civil courts when required.
Eligibility
- Experience of 5-8 years in corporate law.
- Proficiency in drafting agreements such as SPAs, SHAs, private trust deeds, lease deeds, MSAs, vendor and supply agreements, customer contracts, and PPAs.
- Strong knowledge of contract and property law, the Companies Act, 2013, FEMA, 1999, and allied corporate/securities regulations.
- Ability to manage client matters end-to-end with minimal supervision.
- Skills in preparing legal opinions and memos and maintaining effective communication with senior partners.
- Preferred experience in the pharma sector, title search, due diligence, legal metrology, FSSAI, employment laws, and court appearances before NCLT and civil courts.
