Details of the Job/Internship

Sharma & Sharma, Advocates & Legal Consultants LLP is hiring a Senior Litigation Associate with 5–7 years of experience to join its full-time, on-site team in New Delhi.

The role involves handling a wide range of litigation matters, including drafting legal motions, conducting legal research, preparing for depositions, and representing clients before courts.

The position requires efficient management of multiple cases, close collaboration with senior legal professionals, and regular interaction with clients to deliver high-quality legal outcomes with accuracy and attention to detail.

Role and Responsibilities

• Handle a broad spectrum of litigation matters.
• Draft legal motions, pleadings, and other court filings.
• Conduct legal research on case laws, statutes, and legal precedents.
• Prepare for and assist in depositions and other pre-trial processes.
• Represent clients before courts and judicial forums.
• Manage multiple cases simultaneously while ensuring adherence to deadlines.
• Collaborate with senior legal professionals on case strategy and execution.
• Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective case management.

Eligibility

• 5–7 years of post-qualification experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB).
• Master’s degree in Law (LLM) or equivalent specialization is an added advantage.
• Strong expertise in litigation processes and procedures.
• Proficiency in drafting motions and other legal filings.
• Excellent legal research skills.
• Experience in depositions and pre-trial or discovery processes.
• Sound understanding of court operations and effective client representation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior experience in corporate or commercial litigation is preferred.

Salary/Stipend
