Details of the Job/Internship

NxtWave is hiring a Senior Litigation Associate / Assistant Litigation Manager / Litigation Manager with experience of 2-5+ years to join their office in Hyderabad. The role involves managing litigation, contracts, and compliance while ensuring the company’s operations align with applicable laws and regulations.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage ongoing and potential litigation across civil, criminal, labor, consumer, and regulatory matters.
• Develop preventive litigation strategies, including negotiation and settlement.
• Draft, review, and finalize legal notices, pleadings, affidavits, and other documents.
• Liaise with police authorities, external counsel, and appear before courts, tribunals, and regulatory bodies.
• Conduct legal research, prepare case briefs, and provide legal opinions.
• Support in regulatory compliance, responding to notices, and managing risks.
• Assist in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts with stakeholders.
• Stay updated on legal developments and provide compliance guidance.
• Maintain litigation trackers, case files, and ensure smooth workflows.
• Provide general legal support to the legal and compliance team.

Eligibility

• LL.B./LL.M. degree.
• Senior Litigation Associate: Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Assistant Litigation Manager: Minimum 4 years of experience.
• Litigation Manager: Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Experience with law firms and corporations.
• Strong understanding of contract law and compliance.
• Excellent research, drafting, analytical, and communication skills.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
