Details of the Job/Internship

Listenlights is seeking a seasoned Compliance Manager to join their Mumbai-based leadership team.

Role and Responsibilities

• Oversee and evaluate compliance across all business operations, including multiple project sites and vendor networks.
• Ensure strict adherence to central, state, and local regulations, focusing on labour laws and EHS standards.
• Conduct regular compliance audits and site reviews to identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare comprehensive reports for leadership regarding compliance risks, deviations, and mitigation strategies.
• Design and execute structured training programs for employees and contractors to minimize operational risk.
• Lead investigations into any compliance breaches and ensure closure according to regulatory standards.
• Partner with HR, Projects, Legal, and Finance teams to integrate compliance into core business processes.
• Track and interpret new regulatory frameworks to ensure the organization remains ahead of legal shifts.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in a compliance, legal, or governance role.
• Industry Preference: Prior experience in Construction, Infrastructure, or MEP industries.
• Deep understanding of Indian regulatory frameworks and statutory compliance requirements.
• Strong background in Labour Laws and safety norms.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Preferred: Experience in risk management, internal audits, and managing compliance across decentralized project sites.
