Details of the Job/Internship
Tata Communications is hiring a Sr. Manager – Corporate Legal with strong expertise in Indian telecom regulations to join its Legal & Regulatory Affairs team in Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Act as regulatory liaison with the Product Office, advising on risk, compliance, and licensing requirements.
- Provide regulatory guidance during product design, rollout, and market launch.
- Maintain regulatory trackers, risk matrices, and ensure adherence to OSP regulations and DoT guidelines.
- Handle proceedings before TRAI, DoT, TDSAT, and other regulatory bodies.
- Review commercial documents for regulatory compliance, including LOUs, LOAs, MSAs, and customer agreements.
- Track regulatory changes, prepare impact notes, and draft submissions to authorities.
- Support OSP compliance, UL license requirements, audits, and inspections.
- Assist with RFPs, customer onboarding, and regulatory queries.
Eligibility
- Strong understanding of Indian telecom regulations, licensing, and compliance frameworks.
- Proven ability to interpret and apply legal requirements in business and product contexts.
- Excellent drafting, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with TRAI, DoT, TDSAT procedures.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage both strategy and execution.
