Details of the Job/Internship

Siemens Healthineers is hiring a Legal Counsel (Commercial Law) with 6–8 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and business-focused legal advice to management and various business units.
• Review, draft and negotiate commercial contracts, bids, tenders, supply and service agreements, consortium and collaboration agreements.
• Identify legal risks and suggest mitigation measures in commercial transactions.
• Support procurement, sales and project management for contract structuring and documentation.
• Represent the company in negotiations and manage resolution of legal matters.
• Coordinate with internal departments on logistics, insurance, tax, export control and financial documentation.
• Handle dispute management and supervise external legal counsel.
• Support development and implementation of legal policies and processes.
• Conduct internal legal trainings as required.
• Liaise with government, regulatory and judicial authorities when needed.

Eligibility

• Degree/Master’s in Law with 6–8 years PQE in MNCs, preferably MedTech/pharma/infrastructure industries.
• Strong understanding of commercial laws, contract structuring and negotiation.
• Litigation experience in corporate/commercial matters.
• Excellent analytical, drafting and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• High professional ethics, self-motivated and a collaborative team player.
• Willingness to travel for business and negotiations.
