Details of the Job/Internship
FanCode is hiring a Senior Manager – Legal with a minimum of 8 years of experience to join its Mumbai office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advise on sports broadcast operations, including media rights acquisition, advertising, and marketing.
- Monitor, enforce, and develop intellectual property strategy.
- Track and advise on policy and regulatory matters impacting the business.
- Handle and advise on litigation matters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and identify legal risks in daily operations.
- Build and strengthen legal and compliance frameworks for the organisation.
- Continuously improve standard agreements and internal legal processes.
Eligibility
- Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in media, sports businesses, digital startups, or reputed law firms.
- Strong understanding of intellectual property law.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating high-value commercial agreements.
- Ability to manage large workloads within strict timelines.
- Strong communication skills to simplify complex legal issues.
- Experience with sports media rights and team leadership is preferred.
- Passion for sports is an added advantage.
