Details of the Job/Internship

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals is hiring a Senior Manager – Legal with 12–15 years of experience to join their Mumbai team. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on civil, criminal, labor, contractual, and environmental law matters.
• Devise litigation and risk management strategies with the management team.
• Ensure adherence to internal governance and compliance frameworks.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and pleadings.
• Liaise with external counsels, public authorities, and regulators.
• Respond to legal notices, manage litigation portfolios, and brief external advocates.
• Oversee legal proceedings, prepare legal MIS, and attend court hearings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve disputes and safeguard company interests.
• Create internal processes, templates, and guidelines to improve legal operations.
• Train new legal department hires and monitor legal spending and performance.

Eligibility

• LLB from a reputed institution; LLM preferred.
• 12–15 years of experience, preferably in a large organization or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong knowledge of litigation, labor laws, and complex contract negotiation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, legal documentation, and legal software.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally with departments like HR, finance, and operations.
