Details of the Job/Internship
Sun Life Financial is hiring a Senior Manager – Legal (Contract Specialist) with 8–12 years of experience to join their Gurugram office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret commercial and insurance-related contracts including distribution, outsourcing, consulting, and service agreements.
- Collaborate with legal teams across international offices to streamline contract processes.
- Manage records, renewals, and amendments for ongoing contracts.
- Provide legal consultation on business transactions and risk management.
- Support the development of internal legal frameworks, templates, and toolkits.
- Advise business teams on compliance with laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Lead project-based assignments, manage contract management software, and monitor contractual commitments.
Eligibility
- LLB degree (advanced degree in law or contract management preferred).
- 8–12 years of experience in the legal domain, preferably in the insurance, IT, consulting, or outsourcing sectors.
- Strong analytical, drafting, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience handling international contracts and regulatory frameworks.
