Details of the Job/Internship
ClinChoice is a global full-service CRO dedicated to professional development and providing an excellent work-life balance, with a quality-focused, collaborative “one-team” culture. They are looking for a dynamic person to join there in-house team as a Senior Manager, Case Processing on a permanent basis. You will work on projects from there varied client base, ranging from small to big pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and consumer health companies.
Role and Responsibilities
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing all operational aspects of project delivery for ICSR Case management projects.
- Apply practical project management skills, business and client management understanding, leadership skills, and domain knowledge to deliver timely and successful deliverables for all projects.
- Thorough understanding of ICSR process including all related guidelines/regulations.
- Possess the ability to mentor and bestow domain knowledge to the team.
- Support in the functional capability development of team members.
- Manage daily operations effectively such as workload/backlog clearance management through strategic planning and resource allocation to ensure deliverables are met in accordance with client expectations/SLAs/KPIs.
- Daily management of project activities including foreseeing any risk and challenges and discuss mitigation plans with internal and external stakeholders as applicable.
- Responsible for Dashboard metrics review for accuracy and completeness prior to submission to relevant internal and external stakeholders within agreed timelines.
- Provide frequent and constructive feedback to team members on performance / metrics parameters and contribute towards their career progression.
- Adherence to internally defined QMS (Quality Management System) and all functional regulatory / statutory process guidelines.
- Ensure completion of any other task assigned by the reporting manager.
- Demonstrate quality of work & commitment through excellence in work, ensure correctness and completeness in deliverables with minimum or no re-work.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders on project updates, metrics, challenges and issues including effective solutions for mitigation, as necessary.
- Work closely with the team lead/associate managers/managers and clients (as applicable) to identify and mitigate risks to meet the timelines, address/seek clarity for queries, if any and escalate when necessary.
- Ensure that all assigned goals (e.g., utilization and efficiency) are met for self and team as per set standards for the performance year.
- Contribute to the preparation of RFI/RFPs/defense bid and act as a guide to the sales and business development team.
- Perform regular reviews with team leads and managers as a check mechanism on the overall project health and report to the Reporting manager for any issues/challenges.
- Proactively provide qualitative suggestions for improvements in process, workstreams leading to greater efficiencies.
- Contribute towards strengthening of the business process (client /internal project workflows) / workstream specific processes.
- Act as a guide and mentor to team, team leads and managers from domain and operational standpoint as necessary and have a succession planning as required and in agreement with the Reporting manager.
- Develop and maintain assigned departmental quality system procedures, instructions and provide training as necessary both within and outside the department.
- Independently handle complex work-stream related queries from internal and external stakeholders – proactively providing solutions or answer to their queries.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments/multiple geographies as necessary and contribute towards inter-departmental initiatives.
Eligibility
Education, Experience and Skills:
- Should have 12-15 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance, with 5 years of experience managing a high performing team.
- Project management skills including excel expertise (at a moderate level).
- Should have experience managing internal stakeholders & client engagement & management.
- Prior experience in contribution to RFPs/Bid defense.
- Client Negotiation skills.
- Presentation skills to stakeholders.
