Details of the Job/Internship
AB InBev India is looking for a candidate for the position of Senior Manager Compliance with 7 years of experience to join them.
Role and Responsibilities
- Act with integrity through all words and actions.
- Stay up to date on changes to relevant laws and regulations in India and ensure that the company remains in compliance with anti-corruption laws, anti-trust laws, data privacy laws, etc.
- Implement data protection and privacy programs.
- Implement antitrust and competition programs.
- Investigate broad and diverse allegations.
- Perform third party compliance reviews.
- Utilize data analysis tools and provide data driven insights to support work.
- Develop and refresh policies and training.
- Work cross functionally with functions outside of the Legal & Corporate Affairs team.
- Take on special projects as needed.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in law, business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a compliance or ethics role and a minimum of 7 years PQE.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal and regulatory issues to non-legal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English & Telegu is a must.
- Professional certification in compliance, ethics, or a related field is a plus. • Must have a strong commitment to ethics and integrity.
- Qualified lawyer with experience in Compliance / Investigations at a Law Firm, Big4 or at a multinational company would be a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of laws and regulations governing the alcohol industry in India is a plus.
- Experience at a company with major, consumer-facing brands is helpful.
- Experience in beverage/brewing or another highly regulated industry would be a plus.
