Details of the Job/Internship

Lowe’s India is hiring a Senior Manager – Contracts with 12+ years of experience to lead its end-to-end contract management function.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of a wide variety of contracts, including MSAs, SOWs, IP licenses, and real estate agreements.
• Manage high-stakes global negotiations, specifically focusing on US legal concepts like CCPA data privacy, indemnities, and liability caps.
• Establish and oversee best practices for contract lifecycle management across technology, HR, merchandising, and supply chain teams.
• Mentor and lead a team of approximately 5 members, overseeing workload distribution and performance evaluations.
• Develop standard templates, clause libraries, and negotiation playbooks to optimize workflows.
• Collaborate with Senior Leadership in both India and the US to align contract terms with global business objectives.
• Facilitate contract audits and maintain centralized repositories for version control and compliance.
• Support the implementation and optimization of CLM tools to improve turnaround times.

Eligibility

• LL.B. or LL.M. degree (Mandatory).
• 12+ years of progressive experience in contract management.
• Proven track record of negotiating high-value US and global contracts.
• Previous experience leading a team of legal or contract professionals.
• Strong understanding of commercial, financial, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., export controls).
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple geographies under tight deadlines.
