Details of the Job/Internship
SMFG India Credit is hiring a Senior Manager, Corporate Legal (Pre-Litigation) to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drafting, vetting, reviewing, legal notice replies, customer escalations, correspondences with government and semi-governmentean business or the company in relation intellectual property disputes/claims.company or against the company.
- Co-ordinate with external lawyers on relevant mandates.
- To be the single point of contact within the legal team for all stakeholders in relation to all pre-litigation matters.
- Preparing and documenting various legal policies and process notes and implementing the same existing legal risk framework within the organization and suggesting mitigants.
- Conduct knowledge management sessions for the various businesses and the legal team.
- MIS management and managing audits.
Eligibility
- LLB/LLM with 5-6 years of relevant experience in dealing with customer grievances and litigation.
- Sound knowledge of legal processes for litigation and recovery.
- Should have excellent understanding of corporate laws, RBl and SEBi regulations.
- Excellent command over written and verbal English.
