Details of the Job/Internship
K C Mehta & Co LLP is hiring a Manager – Indirect Taxation with 8–10 years of experience.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead GST compliance, advisory, and litigation assignments.
- Manage tax assessments, audits, and departmental representations.
- Provide strategic insights on complex indirect tax matters.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Mentor, supervise, and review work of team members.
- Conduct GST due diligence and health checks for clients.
- Advise on tax optimization and risk mitigation strategies.
- Draft replies to notices, appeals, and submissions before authorities.
- Update clients on regulatory changes and their impact.
- Coordinate with internal teams for multidisciplinary assignments.
- Support business development, including proposal drafting and client pitches.
- Develop internal knowledge resources and conduct training sessions.
Eligibility
- Qualified CA or CMA.
- 8–10 years of experience in indirect taxation.
- Strong technical expertise in GST and indirect tax laws.
- Experience in litigation and handling tax authorities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements efficiently.
