Details of the Job/Internship

Pratt & Whitney is hiring a Senior Manager – Legal (Global Trade & Compliance) with over 10 years of experience in legal, contract, and regulatory compliance to join their office in New Delhi.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft and review day-to-day and transactional contracts.
• Advise on legal risks, regulatory issues, and compliance matters.
• Act as custodian for compliance and regulatory issues for PW India.
• Provide local legal interpretation and liaise with global legal teams.
• Manage legal support for supply chain, real estate, HR, and corporate governance.
• Liaise with external counsel and manage legal proceedings if required.
• Maintain contract templates, legal databases, and MIS.
• Deliver legal training and ensure compliance with local and global trade laws.
• Support data privacy, HR compliance, audits, and regulatory responses.
• Collaborate with global teams in the U.S. and other countries as needed.

Eligibility

• Indian citizenship and valid work authorization.
• Law Degree and Company Secretary certification.
• 10+ years of experience in legal, contracts, global trade, HR, and compliance.
• Strong drafting skills and fluency in English.
• Ability to manage regulatory authorities and legal matters independently.
• Experience in matrixed international organizations.
• Aerospace or defense sector experience preferred.
