Details of the Job/Internship

Airtel is hiring a legal professional for Circle Operation Management in the Legal Function to support operations in Karnataka.

Role and Responsibilities

• Handle litigation across consumer, civil, criminal, taxation, and labour matters.
• Draft and negotiate contracts, agreements, MoUs, and legal documents.
• Conduct property verification and legal due diligence.
• Respond to legal notices from authorities and stakeholders.
• Manage registration of company properties.
• Maintain litigation records and update systems.
• Advise business teams on legal and regulatory matters.
• Coordinate with internal departments for transaction closure.
• Represent the organisation in court proceedings.
• Prepare pleadings, complaints, and legal briefs.
• Liaise with government authorities for regulatory matters.
• Ensure compliance with DoT, TRAI, and other telecom regulations.
• Manage ROW permissions and infrastructure deployment compliance.
• Support audits, reporting, and regulatory filings.
• Handle disputes, arbitrations, and out-of-court settlements.

Eligibility

• Strong experience in litigation and contract management.
• Knowledge of telecom laws, DoT, and TRAI regulations.
• Experience in regulatory compliance and government liaison.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage cross-functional relationships.
• Capability to simplify complex legal issues for business teams.

Salary/Stipend
