Details of the Job/Internship
Diageo India is hiring a Senior Manager – Legal Business Partner with experience of 6–9 years to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review real estate portfolio and identify assets for monetisation.
- Lead title due diligence and ensure title perfection.
- Identify regulatory risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Develop business cases for sale, lease, and redevelopment.
- Prepare board-level presentations aligned with strategy.
- Draft, negotiate, and execute sale deeds, leases, LOIs, and related agreements.
- Manage lease lifecycle governance and mitigate contractual risks.
- Handle office space agreements and vendor contracts across India.
- Manage travel-related agreements with airlines, hotels, and partners.
- Lead regulatory and quasi-judicial proceedings and dispute resolution.
- Liaise with external counsel and advisors.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on commercial and legal matters.
- Ensure compliance with anti-bribery and corruption frameworks.
- Standardise legal templates and processes.
Eligibility
- LL.B. / LL.M. qualification.
- 6–9 years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong experience in real estate transactions and legal advisory.
- Expertise in contract drafting, negotiation, and risk management.
- Ability to manage stakeholders and multi-region projects.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
