Wipro is hiring a Senior Manager – Legal Entity Controller (APAC) to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead timely and accurate financial close and reporting processes for all APAC entities.
- Represent the Center of Excellence in monthly APAC debrief meetings.
- Track KPIs and monitor progress on metrics for leadership reporting.
- Build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across APAC.
- Review accounting journals including accruals, investments, tax, amortization, etc.
- Review inter-company break checks and settlements.
- Review balance sheet, P&L, and regional bank reconciliations.
- Perform or review FX hedging for the APAC region.
- Lead and develop a team of 15 resources.
- Collaborate on process standardization and automation initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Eligibility
- Postgraduate with experience in Accounting and Finance functions at a multinational corporation.
- CA or CPA qualification preferred.
- Experience in Controllership, Corporate Finance, Accounting, or Audit functions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Oracle, SmartView, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, control-minded, and growth-focused.
- Quick learner with multitasking ability.
- Integrity-driven with strong interpersonal skills.
