Details of the Job/Internship

Paradise Group Builders & Developers is hiring for the position of Senior Manager Legal - Real Estate with 15 years of experience to join their office in Navi Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

• Lead and manage the legal function across projects and verticals.
• Advise senior management on legal risks, strategies, and compliance matters.
• Partner with project heads to ensure timely legal clearances and updates.

Litigation Management

• Handle and supervise all legal proceedings, including civil, criminal, consumer, RERA, arbitration, and labor matters.
• Draft and review notices, replies, and pleadings; coordinate representation with external counsel.
• Strategize dispute resolution and work towards minimizing litigation exposure.

Advisory & Transactions

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, MoUs, joint ventures, lease agreements, and sale deeds.
• Conduct title due diligence and oversee property acquisition documentation.
• Advise on RERA compliance, stamp duty, registration, and applicable real estate regulations.

Compliance & Regulatory

• Ensure compliance with RERA, municipal laws, environmental regulations, and other statutory requirements.
• Maintain and update legal documentation and standard processes.
• Liaise with regulators, government authorities, and statutory bodies.

Risk Management

• Identify legal risks and design mitigation strategies.
• Provide risk assessments for new projects, land acquisitions, and partnerships.

Team Leadership

• Manage and mentor the internal legal team; coordinate effectively with external counsels.
• Drive legal awareness across departments through proactive training and communication.

Eligibility

• LLB (mandatory); LLM preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in real estate legal matters, with expertise in both litigation and advisory.
• Strong knowledge of real estate laws, land acquisition, RERA, NAINA, contracts, and dispute resolution.
• Proven leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and provide quick, business-oriented legal solutions.

Salary/Stipend
