Azurity Pharmaceuticals is hiring a Senior Manager – Legal with 3-9 years of experience to join their Hyderabad office.
Role and Responsibilities
Stakeholder Engagement & Strategic Legal Advisory
- Act as a legal business partner to Global Operations and Supply Chain teams.
- Gain a deep understanding of business strategy, processes, and transactions to proactively identify legal risks and provide practical solutions.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings, offering legal guidance and timely support.
- Track critical legal milestones and ensure timely completion of all legal documentation.
- Collaborate closely with the India General Counsel and global legal team members.
Contract Management & Legal Drafting
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of pharma-related contracts including:
- Manufacturing & Supply Agreements
- CDMO/CMO Agreements
- API Supply & Development Agreements
- Technology Transfer, Quality, PV, Master Services & Consulting Agreements
- Ensure compliance with internal playbooks and mitigation of legal and commercial risks.
- Interpret contractual provisions for business stakeholders and assist in dispute resolution.
- Manage the legal contracts folder and maintain clear documentation standards.
- Track and report legal team KPIs and metrics.
Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) – Ironclad
- Oversee Azurity’s contract lifecycle using Ironclad, ensuring accurate tracking, versioning, and execution of contracts.
- Guide internal clients through the contract intake process and validate business inputs.
- Coordinate reviews, amendments, renewals, and metadata tagging within the CLM tool.
- Lead CLM process improvements and help optimize use of Ironclad in collaboration with legal, finance, and business teams.
- Facilitate execution of documents through DocuSign and ensure seamless stakeholder coordination.
General Legal & Operational Support
- Conduct legal risk assessments, issue identification, and factual investigations.
- Respond to document and information requests from internal teams.
- Assist in due diligence, M&A transactions, and preparation of legal reports and presentations.
- Support ad-hoc legal projects and contribute to broader legal department initiatives.
Eligibility
Education & Experience
- LL.B from a reputed law school; additional certifications in contracts or compliance are a plus.
- 3–9 years of relevant legal experience, including:
- At least 3 years in-house experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- At least 3 years of experience using a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform (preferably Ironclad).
Salary/Stipend
