Details of the Job/Internship

Cactus Communications is hiring a Senior Manager, Legal with 9-10 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Contract Management
• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize a broad spectrum of contracts, including:
• Master Service Agreements, Vendor Agreements, NDAs, Settlement Agreements, Lease Deeds, RFPs, and other commercial documents.
• Manage contracts across multiple international jurisdictions with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and risk mitigation.
• Drive improvements in contract workflows and implement best practices for contract lifecycle management.
• Stakeholder Collaboration
• Act as a strategic legal partner to internal teams, offering actionable advice on legal and regulatory matters.
• Collaborate with external counsel and consultants to manage complex legal issues and ensure compliance.
• Compliance & Policy Governance
• Support global data protection compliance efforts, including adherence to GDPR and other applicable privacy laws.
• Draft, review, and implement key governance policies such as Anti-Bribery, Confidentiality, and Intellectual Property guidelines.
• Monitor changes in legal and regulatory landscapes to ensure continued compliance across jurisdictions.
• Legal Technology & Process Optimization
• Identify opportunities to integrate legal tech solutions for enhanced efficiency.
• Utilize contract management tools to streamline processes, improve document control, and strengthen legal operations.

Eligibility

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from a recognized institution.
• 9–10 years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years as in-house legal counsel in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
• Proven expertise in international commercial and corporate law.
• Strong knowledge of contract management, legal compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Independent, proactive, and results-driven mindset.

Salary/Stipend
