Details of the Job/Internship
Cactus Communications is hiring a Senior Manager, Legal with 9-10 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Contract Management
- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize a broad spectrum of contracts, including:
- Master Service Agreements, Vendor Agreements, NDAs, Settlement Agreements, Lease Deeds, RFPs, and other commercial documents.
- Manage contracts across multiple international jurisdictions with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and risk mitigation.
- Drive improvements in contract workflows and implement best practices for contract lifecycle management.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as a strategic legal partner to internal teams, offering actionable advice on legal and regulatory matters.
- Collaborate with external counsel and consultants to manage complex legal issues and ensure compliance.
- Compliance & Policy Governance
- Support global data protection compliance efforts, including adherence to GDPR and other applicable privacy laws.
- Draft, review, and implement key governance policies such as Anti-Bribery, Confidentiality, and Intellectual Property guidelines.
- Monitor changes in legal and regulatory landscapes to ensure continued compliance across jurisdictions.
- Legal Technology & Process Optimization
- Identify opportunities to integrate legal tech solutions for enhanced efficiency.
- Utilize contract management tools to streamline processes, improve document control, and strengthen legal operations.
Eligibility
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from a recognized institution.
- 9–10 years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years as in-house legal counsel in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Proven expertise in international commercial and corporate law.
- Strong knowledge of contract management, legal compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Independent, proactive, and results-driven mindset.
