Details of the Job/Internship
CapitaLand Group is hiring a Senior Manager – Legal with 8–12 years of experience to join their team in Bangalore or Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Independently manage investments, divestments, and debt transactions across India.
- Support legal due diligence and land title due diligence processes.
- Provide legal advice and counsel to business teams.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts.
- Manage and oversee litigation matters and coordinate with external legal counsel when required.
Eligibility
- Law graduate from a premier university.
- Additional qualification of CS or CA is an advantage.
- 8–12 years of professional experience, preferably from a reputed law firm.
- Strong experience in mergers and acquisitions, debt investments, private equity, and real estate.
- Strong knowledge of corporate laws, securities laws, foreign exchange laws, and sectoral laws relating to real estate and infrastructure sectors.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills.
- Positive attitude with a proactive and self-starter mindset.
- Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
