Details of the Job/Internship
CapitaLand is hiring a Senior Manager – Legal with 8–12 years of experience to join its legal team in Bangalore or Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Independently manage investments, divestments, and debt transactions across India.
- Support legal due diligence, including land and title diligence.
- Provide legal advice and strategic counsel to business teams.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts.
- Manage and oversee litigation matters and coordinate with external legal counsel when required.
Eligibility
- 8–12 years of relevant legal experience.
- Law graduate from a premier university.
- Additional qualifications such as CS or CA are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a reputed law firm is essential.
- Strong experience in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, debt investments, and real estate.
- Sound knowledge of corporate laws, securities laws, foreign exchange laws, and sector-specific laws relating to real estate and infrastructure.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills.
- Proactive mindset with strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure with strong interpersonal skills.
