Details of the Job/Internship
Cipla is hiring a Senior Manager – Legal with a minimum of 7 years of experience to join its legal team in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and finalize a variety of commercial and project agreements.
- Advise manufacturing units on legal and regulatory compliance.
- Manage property-related transactions and responses to legal notices.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution of agreements.
- Support greenfield and brownfield project legalities.
- Develop legal briefs, reports, and risk assessments for senior management.
- Maintain close interaction with cross-functional teams and external legal counterparts.
- Ensure factory compliance and advise on amendments in legal regulations.
- Participate in audits and prepare legal documentation for the same.
- Build and manage a robust legal risk framework for manufacturing operations.
Eligibility
- Qualification: LL.B.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years in legal roles, preferably with exposure to pharmaceutical or manufacturing operations
- Expertise in laws related to manufacturing, including the Factories Act, Environmental Laws, Drugs and Cosmetics Act, Contract Labour laws, etc.
