Details of the Job/Internship
FanCode is hiring a Senior Manager – Legal with a minimum of 8 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advise the sports broadcast business, including media rights acquisition, ad sales, and marketing.
- Handle IP monitoring, enforcement, and strategic planning.
- Track, analyse, and advise on policies impacting business operations.
- Support litigation matters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks.
- Build a strong legal and compliance infrastructure for FanCode.
- Improve standard form agreements and legal processes.
Eligibility
- 8+ years of post-qualification experience in media or sports businesses, digital start-up environments, or reputed law firms.
- Strong understanding of intellectual property law.
- Proven experience in drafting and negotiating high-value agreements.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage large volumes under strict timelines.
- Ability to simplify complex legal issues for internal stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of relevant regulations (good to have).
- Experience in business/legal structuring (good to have).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills (good to have).
- Passion for sports (good to have).
