Details of the Job/Internship
INOX Air Products is hiring a Senior Manager-Legal with experience of 5 to 6 years to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements (with clients and suppliers) and transactional documents by incorporating appropriate clauses in order to protect the organization from legal, commercial, and regulatory risks. Review of RFQ/Tenders of government and private companies, procurement agreements, non-disclosure agreements, etc.
- Standardization/drafting of model contracts for each type of Line of Business/Industry, as appropriate Steering risk mitigation discussion with the business heads and clients/suppliers to enable them to understand the legal position and proposition.
- Using the DMS tool for an end-to-end life cycle management of all contracts. Storing contracts, along with risk mitigation measures in the contract management tool and making them available to senior management in the form of reports or otherwise on a need basis.
- Providing accurate legal advice to business units on various legal and business issues, including without limitation on Indian Contract Act, Sale of Goods Act, Electricity Act, Competition law, Environment related laws, rules and regulations, labour & industrial laws and general corporate law matters.
- Creating awareness and training about the indicated compliance for legal team and business units.
- Drafting legal notice, sending replies to legal notice, drafting or reviewing legal petitions, rejoinders, arbitration matters, and IBC matters. Prepare brief notes on the matter, and strategy formulation to pursue or defend the matter. Briefing legal counsel and attending matters before the court.
Eligibility
- 5 to 6 years of relevant work experience in a Corporate Advisory Role.
- Must have a full-time LLB Degree.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
- Good understanding of commercial contracts.
- Understanding of Indian laws applicable to manufacturing companies.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Result oriented.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and should have good presentation skills.
- Strong ethical standards.
- Ability to respond quickly and efficiently.
