Details of the Job/Internship
Pocket FM is hiring a Senior Manager – Legal for its Employment Law and Legal Compliance vertical across key jurisdictions, focusing on India, the EU, and the United States.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advise on employment law matters, including hiring, onboarding, policies, and terminations.
- Draft, review, and update employment contracts, handbooks, and workplace policies.
- Oversee regulatory compliance and manage filings, audits, and reporting obligations.
- Monitor and interpret regulatory developments and ensure company-wide compliance.
- Handle employee relations, grievances, and investigations in coordination with HR.
- Manage cross-jurisdictional litigation and liaison with external counsel.
- Conduct compliance training and support implementation of data privacy frameworks.
Eligibility
- Law graduate with 7–10 years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience working in multi-jurisdictional organizations across time zones.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws, including PF, ESIC, CLRA, and Minimum Wages.
- Prior exposure to data privacy, SEBI, and RBI regulations preferred.
- Excellent research, drafting, and communication skills.
